El músico y productor canadiense Devin Townsend (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, STEVE VAI, LAMB OF GOD, DARKEST HOUR, GWAR) ha revelado la portada final de " Deconstruction " cuarto trabajo de una serie de discos que ha grabado,bajo el nombre de
THE DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT. Al igual que la portada de “Ghost”, que ya la reveló hace algunas semanas. Ambos trabajos serán lanzados el 21 de Junio a través de InsideOut Music.
Hace unas semanas, puso disposición un EP de cinco temas en directo a través de su Twitter y Facebook.
El EP contiene los temas "Supercrush", "Kingdom", "Truth", "Om" y "By Your Command". "Deconstruction" y "Ghost" — el tercer y cuarto disco que Townsend publicará bajo el nombre de THE DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT — se pondrá a la venta el próximo mes de Junio a través de Inside Out.
Como publicamos algún tiempo atrás, el frontman de EMPEROR, Ihsahn (nombre real: Vegard Sverre Tveitan) ha puesto su voz como invitado a "Deconstruction", el tercer trabajo de
THE DEVIN TOWNSEND PROJECT.
Según comenta Ihsahn: "He sido un fan de Devin y su trabajo durante mucho tiempo, y cuando me preguntó si quería hacer las partes vocales de su próximo disco "Deconstruction", le dije sí inmediatamente.”
Townsend trabajará con Jens Bogren (OPETH, KATATONIA, PARADISE LOST, BLOODBATH) para mezclar "Deconstruction". Las sesiones se llevarán a cabo a finales de Febrero en los Fascination Street studio de Örebro, Suecia.
El propio Townsend cuent que tendrá a dos baterías en esta entrega: Ryan Van Poederooyen [TERROR SYNDROME, THE DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND] y Dirk Verbeuren [SOILWORK, SCARVE, ABORTED].
